Our originally planned Hispanic Heritage Celebration has been replaced with an exciting new online event ā€” the Celebrating Heritage, Empowering Futures: Online Fundraiser, featuring a raffle and silent auction to benefit the LULAC of Riverside Scholarship Fund.

This new format allows everyone in our community to participate and help us continue empowering local students through education. Weā€™re currently gathering both monetary and in-kind donations to make this fundraiser a success!

We are also accepting in-kind donations for our online raffle and auction. Examples include:

  • Gift cards (restaurants, gas, groceries, retail)
  • Experience packages (spa days, gym memberships, tickets, tours)
  • Gift baskets, artwork, or cultural items

Every contributionā€”large or smallā€”helps us raise funds to support higher education opportunities for students in our community.


 

šŸŽ“ About Our Scholarship Fund

100% of the proceeds from this fundraiser go toward the LULAC of Riverside Scholarship Fund, a program of LULAC of Riverside, a registered 501(c)(3) charity (Tax ID: 45-3554295).

Our scholarships support local studentsā€”including graduating seniors heading to college (two-year and vocational schools leading to an associateā€™s degree included) and graduate students continuing their education.

Recipients are selected based on academic performance, need, community involvement, and leadership activities, with special emphasis placed on motivation, sincerity, and integrity as expressed through their personal essays.
